Not the fastest

Pros : I love the size, it’s perfect size for the pinch bails.

Cons : I found that it takes a lot longer to drill a hole with this bit. I can only drill 3 or 4 before my bill gets too hot to use (I use a Dremel).

Other Thoughts : If I’m really in a pinch, I drill a small hole first with a 1mm bit and then finish it off with this. It is much faster that way.

Product Description

Great For Jewelry Making
Our fused glass instructors have found these drill bits to be the best for jewelry making. They loved the small size and fine holes they were able to drill in glass with the durable diamond coated tip. A very handy tool for glass jewelry artists. Includes six 1.4 mm drill bits. Attaches easily to a Rotary Tool, such as #67310, Dremel, or standard electric drill using Micro Chuck #76412.
