Perfect

Pros : perfect fit
perfect color
perfect eye protection

Cons : None that I’ve found except my cheeks are a little large for these sweet glasses. I’ll I did to fix this was add two nose pads. Doing this brought the frame up just enough to lift off my cheeks.

Other Thoughts : I love these safety glasses, now I can melt boro in style :). My eyes are not bothered at all now that I have the correct type of safety glasses and the shade 3 have been plenty of protection. I feel if they were any darker I wouldn’t like them, but if my eyes do start to feel like sand paper I could put my clip ons over these. I don’t see this ever being a problem but just thought I’d mention it. Bottom line – love them!

The Phillips Maxx is a lightweight, wrap-around plastic sun glass style frame. They are perfect for wearing for long periods of time, especially in front of audience. The Philips Maxx most applealing attribute is how it’s designed to hug the contour of your face blocking light from all angles.

Boroscope Shade 3.0 Lenses – Phillips Boroscopes are designed to meet the need for the extra UV and IR protection needed when working on borosilicate glass. This product is greatly lighter than conventional laminated products and comes in a full coverage lens which this is a higher quality design because there are no areas without shading. Boroscopes should be worn when working on hard glass types where regular didymium or Phillips202/ACE are not adequate due to the fact of insufficient filtration of ultra violet and infra-red absorption. Green #3 shade are dark enough to protect your eyes, but not as dark as some safety glasses. Also available in a #5 shade, depending on your preference. Both offer excellent protection.
