- Â blades break easy

Pros : don’t have to grind after you cut a piece out. will cut tiny pieces
Cons : blades break to easy for me, after breaking 3 blades I am afriad of it. that gets real costly
Other Thoughts : I wish I could use mine without breaking blades. I do love the saw.

Pros : I have had my Taurus II for approximately 8 years now. You have to be careful not to force your glass to the blade, but rather let it do the work as you guide it. My first saw blade went quickly; however, this replacement was long overdue–my blade lasted {with regular use} almost a year. I also recommend replacing the belt and pulleys, bearings and grommets frequently.

Pros : Saw and blade cuts excellent and saves time
Cons : Blade breaks very easily and is very expensive to replace. Somewhat difficult to change out
the gears, belt and blade. Afraid to use too much. Older replacement blades were excellent and lasted for reasonable amount of usage. Something seems different in the manufacture of blades.
