Product Description
Gryphon’s core drill bits for glass artists feature the same high quality coating as their well-respected grinder bits. Diamond bits quickly and easily remove a complete circle in glass. Core bits work with a standard electric drill and only need water as a lubricant.
Pack includes 3 sizes: 4mm, 6mm, and 18mm. These sizes are approximately equal to 1/8″, 1/4″, and 3/4″. Perfect for projects from jewelry and wind chimes to table fountains and lamps.
Shown in additional images are examples of projects that can be created using core drill bits. Fused pendant uses 1/8″ core drill bit for a perfect hole for stringing. Water lily table fountain by artist Teresa Batten was created with fused flower molds and assembled using a core drill bit to accommodate the fountain and water flow. Fused glass pendant lamps by artist Val Oswalt. Fused glass sink by artists Val Oswalt and Roy Kapp was created using a core drill bit to create the hole to accommodate plumbing.
