Zinc Rebar – 6 Ft Piece

Product Description

Give your stained glass creations the reinforcement to last for centuries with this easy to install external reinforcement. Sturdy zinc rebar will add strength and stability to your lead and copper foil creations. Cuts easily with the hand held X-Acto Razor Saw #5050, or a power came saw such as the Power Miter II™ Chop Saw #7990.

Zinc rebar should be used to reinforce panels measuring more than 24″ in any direction. For panels 2′ – 3′ long one piece of rebar can be used in the middle of the longest side of your panel. Rebar should extend onto zinc frame to the outer edge and be soldered to that and each solder seam that it connects with. For larger panels additional equally spaced supports should be added. 

Measures 1/8″ thick and 5/16″ wide. Six feet long strip. Sold per piece. When ordering individual came pieces an over sized boxing charge will be applied.
